See 4x Farther with Einar Super Tele: Long-Range ANPR for Smarter, More Flexible Access Control

We’re proud to introduce a powerful new addition to the Einar camera family: Einar Super Tele — a long-range ANPR+MMR (vehicle make, model, color, category, body type, generation recognition) camera designed for today’s frictionless, infrastructure-sensitive environments.

With a recognition range of up to 80 meters, Einar Super Tele sees four times farther than the standard Einar models – enabling smarter camera placement, wider coverage, and fewer units per site. Whether mounted high above an entrance or integrated into an architectural facade, this model brings unmatched flexibility to parking and access control systems, all while delivering the trusted performance Einar is known for.

Maximum Coverage, Minimum Infrastructure

The Einar Super Tele addresses a common challenge in modern vehicle monitoring: how to reliably cover distant or hard-to-reach entry points without the need for extra infrastructure or inconvenient installation compromises.

Instead of relying on multiple cameras mounted at ground level — where they are vulnerable to tampering and often require dedicated poles or brackets — Einar Super Tele can be discreetly installed on building facades, overhangs, or elevated positions. This flexibility is especially valuable when the parking area is rented and permanent modifications are not permitted, when the site is architecturally protected, or when operators want to avoid costly civil works.

Thanks to its extended range, a single Einar Super Tele unit can perform the work of multiple cameras, helping reduce hardware costs while maintaining a clean, unobtrusive entrance setup.

Built for Modern, Barrier-Free Parking

Barrier-free systems are transforming how vehicles move through parking facilities — removing gates, reducing congestion, and improving the driver experience. Einar Super Tele supports this shift by offering long-range recognition that covers even wide or offset entry lanes, along with flexible, non-intrusive installation that doesn’t require ground-level mounting or permanent infrastructure.

These advantages make it especially suitable for retail centers with multiple or asymmetrical entrances, urban parking areas where the operator rents the space or faces installation restrictions, and residential or mixed-use buildings where maintaining architectural integrity is a priority.

What’s New?

Einar Super Tele builds on everything users already trust about the Einar platform — now with specialized enhancements to support more demanding deployments:

  • A custom-designed super-telephoto lens, enabling plate recognition from 9 to 80 meters
  • Stronger, more focused IR illumination for improved nighttime performance at long range

These optical upgrades make the camera perfectly suited for complex site layouts, long driveways, and high-mount scenarios — all without sacrificing recognition accuracy.

Everything You Expect from Einar

While the optics are new, everything else remains familiar. Einar Super Tele includes the same powerful features the industry already knows and relies on:

  • On-board ANPR and MMR processing powered by Carmen®
  • Fast edge processing and cloud-ready integration via API and webhooks
  • Rugged IP67-rated housing and field-upgradeable components

Smarter Installations. Greater Freedom.

Whether you’re managing a high-traffic retail lot, a leased urban garage, or a mixed-use development with strict design constraints, Einar Super Tele gives you more options — with less infrastructure and no compromises in performance.
