LYNET Patrol transforms ordinary police vehicles into intelligent mobile surveillance platforms, combining 360° visual coverage, automatic vehicle identification, and real-time intelligence in one integrated system.
Powered by Carmen® ANPR and MMR technology, LYNET Patrol automatically identifies surrounding vehicles and cross-checks recognition data against connected databases, reducing the need for manual monitoring. Whether on the move or stationed at a strategic location, it helps law enforcement teams identify vehicles of interest and respond faster.
With eight imaging channels and onboard image processing, LYNET Patrol provides panoramic coverage around the patrol vehicle, including traffic directly behind it. It recognizes license plates and identifies vehicle make, model, color, and category across up to four lanes ahead and four lanes behind.
Recognition data can be cross-checked against connected databases and watchlists, automatically alerting officers when vehicles of interest are detected. Whether moving through busy streets or monitoring traffic from a stationary position, LYNET Patrol helps officers stay informed without having to manually identify every passing vehicle.
LYNET Patrol is built to do more. By integrating LYNET Speed, its 360° surveillance capabilities can be extended with radar-based speed measurement and enforcement.
The optional module measures the actual speed of target vehicles while accounting for patrol vehicle movement, enabling speed enforcement during stationary or moving patrol operations without relying on a separately calibrated patrol vehicle speed reference.
With coverage of up to four traffic lanes, advanced object tracking, and speed measurement up to 320 km/h, LYNET Speed adds another powerful dimension to the patrol platform.
