This approach allows enforcement agencies to deploy the system across vehicles without requiring vehicle-specific calibration.

Certified evidence for multilane traffic environments

Lynet Speed is designed to generate court-admissible violation evidence in complex traffic environments. The system combines radar-based speed measurement with Carmen® ANPR, onboard make and model recognition (MMR), and integrated GPS data to create structured enforcement records.

To ensure clear vehicle attribution, the system uses TargetLock Evidence Marking technology, visually identifying the offending vehicle even in multilane traffic conditions. Dual onboard cameras with object tracking allow Lynet Speed to monitor up to four traffic lanes simultaneously, maintaining precise target identification in dense traffic scenarios.

Each violation record contains detailed information including speed measurement data, license plate recognition results, vehicle classification, and GPS location information.

Compact design for patrol vehicle deployment

Lynet Speed was engineered for flexible installation in patrol vehicles. Its ultra-compact, passively cooled design allows mounting under lightbars or inside vehicles without complex modification or additional cooling systems.

The camera operates through a single PoE+ connection for power and communication, enabling rapid deployment across enforcement vehicles.

The rugged IP68-rated metal housing ensures reliable operation in demanding roadside conditions and continuous 24/7 enforcement.

Integrated ANPR and system connectivity

The system integrates our Carmen® ANPR engine directly onboard, enabling automatic license plate recognition without external processing units. Onboard MMR technology further supports vehicle classification and identification.

Through a well-documented API with PUSH and PULL data streams, Lynet Speed can integrate with existing enforcement infrastructures and third-party platforms. When used with Globessey Data Server (GDS), multiple devices can be centrally managed within a single system environment.

Applications for modern mobile enforcement

Lynet Speed supports a wide range of traffic enforcement and monitoring applications, including:
